I am working on the relationship between David Foster Wallace’s writings and 20th-century philosophy, with particular reference to Martin Heidegger, Michel Foucault, Jacques Derrida, and Hans-Georg Gadamer.

I am interested in philosophy of the arts, aesthetics, and phenomenology of reading. I am currently analyzing Wallace using a genealogical perspective, in order to consider Wallacian characters, in relation to devices of language, desire, and power.
